Itinerary
Upon arrival, we warmly welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation for some much-needed rest. Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan, sits at an elevation of approximately 540 meters above sea level.
Start your day with an early breakfast before we set off on a scenic drive to Chilas in the Gilgit-Baltistan province. Admire the lush green valleys of Naran and Kaghan en route, with stops at Babusar top (elevation: 4,173 meters) and Lulusar lake (elevation: 3,410 meters) for lunch and photography opportunities.
After breakfast, we head to the serene Hunza Valley via the legendary Karakoram Highway (KKH). Along the way, we pause at the Nanga Parbat viewpoint (elevation: 8,126 meters) and Rakaposhi viewpoint (elevation: 7,788 meters) to capture the majestic vistas. Spend the night in Hunza, situated at an altitude of approximately 2,500 meters.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before Ventureing on a thrilling jeep drive to the Hopper Valley. After a short stop at Hoper village for tea, we begin our trek, crossing the Hoper Glacier to reach our first base camp. The trek involves traversing rugged terrain at an altitude of around 3,000 meters. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the campsite.
Start your day with a simple breakfast amidst the fresh mountain air before setting out on a challenging trek to Tusk Lake. Navigate steep and rugged paths with caution, covering a relatively short distance at an altitude of approximately 4,700 meters. Upon reaching Rush Lake, unwind and enjoy a well-deserved rest.
Fuel up with breakfast by the glacial lake before Ventureing on the exhilarating ascent of Rush Peak. Marvel at the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the majestic K2, at an altitude of 5,098 meters above sea level. Trek back to the campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, pack up your belongings and begin your descent back to the valley of Hamdan. Capture the natural beauty of the Spantik peak viewpoint and collect unique herbs known for their medicinal properties along the way. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Hamdan.
Following a hearty breakfast, we trek through the picturesque Hopper Valley, crossing the Miyar and Hopper glaciers. Enjoy lunch amidst the stunning natural surroundings before Ventureing on a jeep drive to Karimabad, situated at an altitude of approximately 2,400 meters. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Karimabad.
Discover the rich cultural heritage of Karimabad with visits to the ancient Altit and Baltit forts, showcasing centuries-old architecture and artifacts. Enjoy lunch at the renowned Khabasi Café before witnessing a mesmerizing sunset at the Duikar viewpoint, situated at an altitude of around 2,900 meters. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the same location.
Venture on an exciting journey back to Islamabad via the historic Karakoram Highway, stopping along the way to capture panoramic views of Gilgit city and the mighty River Indus. Spend the night at a comfortable PTDC motel in Bisham.
After a delightful breakfast, resume your journey to Islamabad with scenic stops at Mansehra and Abbottabad. Explore the natural beauty of these areas and immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to Abbottabad bazaar. Spend your final night in Islamabad.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we transfer you to the airport for your international departure. Bid farewell to Pakistan with cherished memories of your adventure-filled expedition.
