Makli Necropolis

Dating back to the 14th century, Makli Necropolis served as the burial ground for royalty, saints, and scholars during the Sindh Sultanate. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981, it showcases diverse architectural styles and offers insights into historical funerary practices. Despite being uninhabited, it attracts visitors globally, drawing around 250,000 tourists annually.
